Over Here
Winging its way to the UK from Japan is the new Hyalogy o2 Hydraderm Facial, using professional cosmeceutical range Forlle’d. Based on nano technology, the facial uses ingredients such as low-molecular hyaluronic acid — which reaches deep into the dermis — to allegedly deliver similar results to invasive treatments such as mesotherapy. A-list facialist Sherron Holder-Culver has treated celebrities including Renee Zellweger, Katy Perry and Natascha McElhone and has brought the Forlle’d facial to the UK at SP&Co in Chelsea. Be one of the first to try it! £225 for 70 minutes.

Notox the new Botox for 2012
Notox will be the treatment of choice to eliminate frown lines in 2012, according to Dr Mario Luca Russo, who predicts the FDA will approve the toxin-free jab — suitable for pregnant women and those breast-feeding — in the first half of the year. It sends radio-frequency beams via a tiny needle to create temporary paralysis, with immediate results lasting 12-18 months. Dr Russo believes Notox will be more precise than Botox. “With Notox, the practitioner can insert the needle with low energy to stimulate the muscle to confirm it’s in the right place before paralysing the muscle.” He expects the treatment to cost around £950 for a single area such as a the forehead. Dr Russo, whose flagship clinic is in Harley Street, recently opened a clinic in Canary Wharf. He plans to launch a skincare range in March that will include two cleansers with active ingredients designed to stick to your skin. One has in-built SPF15 while the other includes antiseptic for acne sufferers.
