Eye eye
If there really are seven steps to heaven, then HD Brows has found them. Celebrities are going mad for their new seven-step eyebrow shaping procedure, guaranteed to widen eyes beyond threading, waxing or plucking.
HD Brows' trained shapers are said to be able to transform clients' faces to such an extent they look like they’ve had a mini-facelift.
The procedure employs a combination of tinting, tweezing, plucking, waxing, soothing and finishing — all of which follow an initial, very thorough consultation to determine the look the client is hoping to achieve. Famous fans include former Mis-Teeq singer Sabrina Washington (pictured) and ex-Blue's Duncan James and Simon Webbe.

See the light
Revolutionary laser skin resurfacing treatment QuadraLASE is one of the latest
techniques being welcomed by celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett
in their quest to look younger without going under the knife. The non-invasive treatment
is said to treat deep lines and wrinkles, eradicate acne scars, reverse sun damage and
increase skin's elasticity.
QuadraLASE works by gently removing the outer layer of the skin while heating the
under layer to stimulate the growth of new collagen fibres, thus producing fresher,
smoother, healthier looking skin. The laser creates a micro injury without disturbing any
surrounding tissue and the micro-injured areas then start the process of healing as
collagen remodels and tightens the skin.

The Derma Filler
Restylane – the leading hyaluronic acid dermal filler for safe, long lasting,
natural enhancement
Anti ageing creams may smooth the surface of the skin but facial lines occur at
a much deeper level. Whether you want to banish ageing lines, enhance the shape
of your lips or simply revitalise your looks, Restylane provides a natural revitalising
beauty lift that lasts for nine long months or even longer. Treatment benefits can
be seen instantly and are long lasting, but not permanent. Restylane boosts the
skin’s own hydration system and replenishes the supplies of hyaluronic acid to restore
youthful volume. It supports the skin’s structure while working at a deep dermal
level to delay the signs of ageing. Restylane is injected into the skin to deliver
action where it’s needed. It lifts and smoothes away lines and also restores skin’s
youthful fullness without loss of facial expression. The beauty of Restylane is
that its safety is clinically proven, with over 10 million treatments worldwide
and over 13 years of experience. Restylane tried, tested, trusted. For more information

Beach Body Blast
If you're worried about baring all in a bikini this summer and want a firmer skin
tone to flaunt on the beach, help is at hand. Dual-layer RF Thermotherapy is a painless,
non-invasive, radio frequency treatment that can be used on both the face and body
to tone and tighten the deep structures of your skin. The treatment involves heating
the inner layer of your skin, like a warm massage, using two individual types of
radio frequency technology: unipolar and bipolar. With time, new collagen develops,
producing plump and firmer skin. If you think this sounds too good to be true, there's
only one way to find out if it lives up to the hype. Typically you'd need between
four to eight treatments for noticeable results.
Prices start from £300 per session at London's EF MediSpa.

Roll on
Widely recognised as the Rolls-Royce of cellulite and body-contouring treatments,
endermologie fans are lining up to try the new advanced Keymodule Endermologie in
their quest to ditch the dimples and achieve smoother, leaner-looking legs. The
non-invasive, painless treatment involves patients wearing a stretchy, cotton suit
and being kneaded and massaged by cylindrical rollers that also gently suction the
skin to stimulate the lymphatic systems and eliminate toxins. London's Hurlingham
Spa has the latest machine featuring keymodules or different sets of rollers, designed
to target specific problems, such as cellulite, loose skin (particularly on tummies
after pregnancy) and localised fat (love handles for example). Colleen Rooney, Claudia
Schiffer and Elle Macpherson are said to be fans of the treatment that also increases
collagen and elastin production.
From £70 for 45 minutes.

Girl’s Best Friend
Madonna and Renee Zellweger are reportedly fans of DiamondTome's micro skin resurfacing
to reduce fine lines and rejuvenate the skin. Easily administered in less than a
lunch hour, Diamond Chip wands are used to polish the top layer of the skin with
natural diamond chips and vacuum away dead skin cells. This dual action leaves a
smoother surface and promotes the growth of healthy new cells and is available in
four different sizes for gentle to more aggressive exfoliation. For more serious
skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation, age spots or sun damage, a course of
treatments is recommended.
From £40 for one session.

For the vein
If you're looking for an alternative to laser surgery or micro-sclerotherapy to
eradicate thread veins, try thermo-coagulation, a non-invasive treatment using a
needle that omits a high frequency microwave energy from its tip. Commercially available
as a treatment called Veinwave. The insulated needle and pinpoint focus means there's
little chance of any damage to the skin. The procedure only takes 15 minutes and
is relatively painless. Prices vary but typically cost from £150 per treatment.

Impulsive Action
If painful facial treatments with risks and downtime isn't your thing, the Perfector
Nano Current Lifting Facial (that's the medicine, not the iPod) may be for you.
This gentle electronic facial works on the theory you don't have to traumatise the
skin to stimulate collagen production in the quest for a subtle youthful lift and
glowing complexion. Developed by Gerry Pollock, the co-inventor of the first pacemaker,
a three-prong probe is placed on the face and works by emitting complex ionic signals
that mimic cellular communication, gently persuading the cells to repair themselves.
While the old Perfector system has been around for years, the new nano facial uses
lower frequencies that last longer and is going down a storm in the US where fans
include Hollywood star Sharon Stone. Book 12 treatments over a period of three to
four weeks for optimum results.
Prices start from £35 per session.

Six Senses at Pan Peninsula
Situated in London's docklands, the new Six Senses Spa is a welcome retreat from
the hustle and bustle of city life. As well as the usual menu of high-quality treatments,
the spa prides itself on being able to create bespoke massages. I opted for a fusion
of both shiatsu and Thai massage techniques. Afterwards, I felt suitably stretched
and relaxed, the experience only slightly spoilt by the male masseuse's hot hands
and a stuffy relaxation room.
Exclusive Offer to Spa Secrets readers: Book a 50-minute treatment and receive
a complimentary 25-minute express treatment worth £50.
The offer is available until 31 August 2009 just quote Spa Secrets when booking.
